New Orleans emcee Cutta inks deal
with Elevated Minds Music Group (EMMG)

August 12, 2007 (Chicago, IL) –

New Orleans-based indie rhyme wiz Cutta (one-third of local N.O.hip-hop trio Illdren) announced an agreement between his team and promotion/distribution giant Elevated Minds. On the heels of his full-length debut Open Wounds, Christopher “Cutta” Blount will become CEO of Cutta Music, LLC, developing a roster talent from the New Orleans and Chicago areas.

”This is more than rap music,” said Cutta from his Oak Park residence. “This is a long-term business relationship. I am happy to play a part of this movement.”

Under the term of the agreement, Cutta will receive full-support from the Eupham/EMMG brand in building a future in music licensing and publishing. He is currently prepping the first leg of his promotion tour while finishing his album. The album will feature some of the most respected names in independent hip-hop as well as some of the cultures greatest unheard talent.
